Participant Information

What do I need to do to participate?

ANNUAL JAMES SHAULL WAGON TRAIN ITINERARY AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The presenters of this year’s National Pike Festival and Wagon Train will be Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau and the James Shaull Wagon Train Foundation. Inc. a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

To participate in the wagon train the fee is $10 per wagon/buggy and/or $10 per horseback rider. This registration fee is non-refundable and must be submitted with all the necessary registration and insurance information.

Liability insurance is necessary to participate. In the event a horse kicks a car or something similar might occur to cause property damage or injury as a result of your animal, the wagon train foundation must have some recourse. Usually an umbrella policy attached to the homeowners insurance policy will provide coverage or a farm policy to include the animals traveling on the roadways. Please have your insurance agent provide you with a copy of the binder to be included with the registration form.
